Mini-Museum: Learn fun facts about Irish history, poetry, music, Gaelic sports, and more.

Trivia Quiz: Show off how much you know about all things Irish by taking our trivia quiz and enter to win a prize.

Irish Knitting Demonstrations: See how to create Aran and other Irish stitches. See a project in progress and try your hand at a small sample.

Irish Name Tags: Find out how to say and write your name in the Irish language and wear it proudly on your own name tag.

Irish Genealogy: Professional genealogist Cindy Wood will be available for 30-minute appointments to help you with individual genealogical research.

Pop-up Gaeltacht: Learn useful words and phrases in Irish.

Friday

5:00 – 9:00 – Exhibits and Demonstrations

5:00-6:00 – Mighty Craic, three well-known local musicians have banded together to form a new trio dedicated to playing traditional Irish music with plenty of craic.

6:30 – 7:00 – Bodhrán Drum Circle — Bring your bodhrán and tipper and join in a special session just for the Irish drum. We’ll have a few spare drums if you need one.

Saturday

12:00 – 7:00 – Exhibits and Demonstrations

12:00-2:00 – Irish Songs with Gerry Dixon

2:00-4:00 – Sip and Paint with Art and Vine — Create your own Celtic masterpiece. All art supplies and a drink are included with your $25 ticket. Find out more here.

2:00-3:00 – Using DNA and Other Tools to Trace Your Irish Ancestry — Professional genealogist Cindy Wood will explain how to find out more about your family’s heritage. Cindy will also be available for 30-minute appointments on Saturday and Sunday to help you with individual genealogical research.

4:00-5:00 – The Irish and the Erie with Craobh DuganLearn about the history of the Irish workers on the Erie Canal with songs and music. Find out more about this project here

7:30-9:00 – Open Session — All local and visiting musicians who play instruments usually associated with Irish traditional music are invited to join in the open session.

Sunday

1:00-2:00 – Songs and Stories with The McCarthy Family — Children’s book author, singer, and Limerick native Deirdre McCarthy and her husband Jim McCarthy will share stories and songs of Ireland.

2:00-3:00 – Sean-nos and Ceili Dance Workshop — Learn old style steps and traditional dances with Deirdre McCarthy.

3:00-4:30 – Songs and Humor with Donal O’ShaughnessyJoin Donal for stories, songs, and lots of laughs.
